Double Wedding.

A charming double wedding took place at the Knox Presbyterian Church last night. The two brides were Miss Sylvia Megan Lewis and Miss Constance Mair Lewis, daughters of Mrs. T. Lewis,"and the late Mr. T. Lewis, of Alberon Street, Parnell. The bridegrooms were Mr. Joseph Scanlin Underdown, only son of Mrs. Underdown, of Remuera, and Mr'. Juan Wech, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wech, of Warkworth. The Rev. Mr. Walker was the officiating minister. Miss Sylvia Lewis looked charming in a gown of shirred satin in a pearl tone. Her gown was trimmed with roped roulettes and was cut on simple but effective lines. Miss Constance Lewis also wore a wedding gown of pearl satin, her frock being trimmed with French roulettes. For bouquets the brides carried Christmas lilies. The two bridesmaids/ Miss Betty Underdown an<f Miss Noni Lewis, were dressed alike in gowns of apricot ninon trimmed with delphinium blue velvet ribbon. They carried bouquets in matching shades of flowers. Mrs. Lewis, mother of the brides, chose a frock of navy blue crepe. Mrs. Underdown wore black crepe trimmed with satin.
