MORE WANTED.

RECRUITING CAMPAIGN.

MEN FROM AUCKLAND AREA

To complete t'ie second echelon, and provide a nucleus for 'the third, plans are being prepared in Auckland to obtain 700 further lecruits, as part of a Dominion effort to secure 10,000 volunteers. Owing to the Christmas holiday seasori, recruiting has fallen off, and the indications are that until the holidays are ended there is little likelihood of young •men coming forward to offer their services. One possible exception to this is that young men who have been occupied for months in the country, and are spending Christmas in the city, may decide to enlist.
