AUSTRALIAN BRAN CHEAPER. ONION STOCKS EXHAUSTED. The following is the official market report issued by the Auckland Grain, Seed and Produce Merchants' Association. Prices named arc f.o.r. or f.o.b. Auckland. Potato and Onion Section. St'ocks <>t Southern potatoes ure now exceedingly light. and it in not • expected ■that many more supplies, if any, will ibe arriving this season. The market tor best jtvaded l\eds and Whites is firm at late values, but no <louibt froin now on tiio market juice will Ik; governed entirely ■by the quality of the potatoes still oil hand. In most cases. however, the finality is still good. New potatoes are now coming on l'o the market much irujrc freely. Ihe small stock of Canadian onions allocated to merchants by the Internal Marketing Division cx the Xiagara now completely exhausted. The Internal Marketing Division has advised that the next shipment will not arrive until Decernvber per cargo steamer. Grain Section. Wheal-.—The special "10 sack cash with order" deliveries will I*. made this week, prices remaining unchanged. Ordinary ex store values also remain unaltered at 7,3 to 7/4 per bushel. Maize, lhe Id per bushel increment automatically becomes operative for November deliveries. It is now most difficult l'o obtain regular supplies from producing centres, although ample stocks me still held by local merchants. A steady demand has been experienced, ex store values being 7/S to 7/7, whilst deliveries cx wharf, strictly subject to supplies, are 7/2 per bushel. It is obvious that importations of maize will be necessary. Barley. — Ample stocks of barley arc held, the demand being somewhat quiet. Ex store values remain unaltered at 4 '»> to 4/8 for undipped and .">/ to 5 2 for clipped. The special Xoveniber 'TO sack c-asli with order" deliveries will be made between Xoveniber 14 and 21, but these deliveries will be su'bject to an increase of Id per bushel, this being the special Xovemiber increment previously announced. Barleymeal.—The demand has been somewhat quiet, but it is anticipated that ; i better demand will be experienced prior to the increase in pi ice. which will naturally take place following the rise in barley. Bran and Pollard.—-1 he price of Australian bran has now been reduced, as was the ease with pollard a few weeks ago. Latest prices ruling '.or tlnve commodities ire now as follows:- Australian bran. £7 t<> £7 in' per tun: pollard, £7 10/ to £S ."> per ton. Chaff and Oats.--Phis market has been luietlv steady, wit'ii ample supplies availible. Best mailed Southern chaff is pioted at £10 7/6 to £10 15' per ton. whilst graded oats arc quoted at 4/4 to 1 8 per bushel.
