DAISY CHAIN CLUB.

At the recent meeting of the Daisy Chain Clulb. Mrs. Ix»rd, president, presided over a large gathering. The vicepresident. Mrs. Waterhouse. opened with the reading of the " Thought for the Day," and the business of the club was then "presented by the secretary, Mrs. Barfoot.

At the general committee meeting it was decided to donate £2 to the St. John Ambulance and arrangements for a bazaar were made.

A fine display of hand-made goods caused great interest. Voting on the best two articles was taken, the winners being: Mrs. Hoo|>er 1, Mrs. V. Hogg 2. Mrs. Barfoot su|>ervised the card afternoon, the winners being Mesdames Parsons and Thomas. A novelty prize was won by Mrs. O'Mallev.

Hostesses for the day were Mesdames Andrews, Grenfell and Chalmers and the afternoon tea conveners were Mrs. E. Judge, Mrs. L. Christie and Mrs. C. Wells.
