BRITISH ASSURANCE.
NEUTRALITY OF SIAM. British Official Wireless. RUGBY, September 10. A Ministry of Information bulletin states that the Siain Government lias for some weeks past been manifesting certain nervousness as to the possibility of violation of its neutrality by belligerent Powers, and this nervousness appears to have been deliberately fostered by outside elements. The British Minister at Bangkok, Sir Josiali Crosby, has accordingly been instructed to assure the Siam Government that so long as the country's neutrality is respected by other Powers it will of course be completely respected by the British Government.
This assurance is similar to the one already given to the Swiss and other Governments, and it is hoped it will effectively remove any doubts that may have been harboured in Siain as regards the British attitude toward that couutrv.
