In the basketball -match played tli'n morning between lady representatives of Auckland and Wellington Teachers' Training Colleges, Wellington won by 17 goals to 13. Epsom Girls' Grammar School defeated Wha'ngarei High School by the narrow margin of one goal. The score was 18—17.
