Cash Orders Amalgamated, Limited, showed a net profit of £103,896. The dhidend is unchanged at 15 per cent. This company's accounts are made up '?- capital stands at £526.1/<i. Ltd.. earned net profit of £13.862 in the year ended March 31. 1939. compared with £14.472 in the previous 12 months. Dividend is maintained at 1, a share (5.55 per cent). The directors report that trading conditions were favourable, and that business was not unduly restricted during that portion of the year to which export restrictions applied. In view of the continued rise in expenses and the increased piovision necessary to meet taxation, the net profit is regarded as satisfactory. This, with the balance of £5638 brought forward from last year, makes £19.500 available.
