SENTENCES IMPOSED.

NEW PLYMOUTH CASES.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) I NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday. The following sentences were imposed by Mr. Justice Reed in the Supreme Court to-day: —Robert Oresti Incrocci, i for indecent assault on a girl, three years' imprisonment with hard labour; Joseph John Zimmerman, failure to stop his car after an accident and failure to ascertain whether there had been an accident, three months' imprisonment with hard labour, cancellation of his driving license and prohibition from obtaining another for 12 months from the expiration of the current license. He was also ordered to pay the costs of the prosecution of £16 7/6, in default an additional month's imprisonment.
