Saturdays Wedding.

HENDERSON—PEARSON.

IVORY CLASSICAL GOWN. A wedding of interest to musical circles was celebrated at St. Barnabas' Church, Mount Eden, on Saturday, when Meara, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Pearson, of Mount Eden, was married to William Henderson, conductor of the Commercial Travellers and Warehousemen's Choir, and only eon of Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Henderson, City. The Rev. R. Monteith officiated.

Tli© bride, who was given away by her father, wore an ivory satin gown, beautifully modelled on classical lines, the back being panelled to form a long train. Her frock was trimmed with miniature- lilies. The billowy tulle veil was held in plane by a velvet halo and she carried a sheaf of arum lilies. The bridesmaid* were Misses hva Pearson (sister of the bride) and Mary Heck. They wore identical frocket of ice blue ninoii over taffeta cut on full graceful lines. On their heads were .luliet ca[*> and they carried sheafs of irises. In attendance on tlie bridegroom were Mr. L. K. Hughes as best man, and Mr. A. L. (irahain as groomsman. The ushers were Mr. K. McLay and Mr. C. Collinson. At the conclusion of the cercmony a reception was lield in the Mount Eden tea kiosk. In the alxsence of the bride's mother, Mrs. G. H. Seagar and Miss Pat Pearson, sisters of the bride, received the guests. The former wore a frock of cyclamen and blue floral georgette and matching turban, whilst the latter wore a frock of sage green georgette and veil to tone. Their bouquets were of cyclamens and irises. The bridegroom's mother, Mrs. G. R. Henderson, wore a charming frock of blue metallic soie and a blue velvet halo to match, and carried a bouquet of cyclamens and anemones.
