FOS CITY AND PROVINCE.

The Government meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton. Kawhia ancl Tauranga:— Westerly winds, reaching gale force at times. Weather squally and changeable, with occasional showers—hpil at times. Moderate temperatures. Seas very rough to high on the wast cotst and rough on the east coast. Pressure is very low to the southoast and high to the north-west. A series of weak depressions is crossing the Dominion. HAURAXI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather cond:ticns_ in the Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-west, strong; sea, rough; weather, heavy rain squalls; visibility, fair; barometer, rising slowly.
