| FARMERS TO KEEP LAND. (Prom Our Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, Sunday. The official termination of the Kuku land dispute is indicated by a public notice over the signature of the Minister of Public Works, the Hon K. Semple, stating that, "whereas certain persons affected have sent to the Minister of Public Works objections to the taking of 9ueh lands," it is no longer intended to take the land for email farms settlement as originally proposed. This land was intended to be transferred to Hutt Valley market gardeners who are under notice to leave the valley so that their land could be used for Government hausmg pmpoeee.
