ANOTHER £100,000.

TRANSPORT BOARD LOAN.

APPEAL TO INVESTORS,

The second issue of £100,000 of the Transport Consolidation Redemption Loan having been taken up in less than a month, it was decided at to-day's meeting of the Auckland Transport Board to raise another £100,000.

This is part of the £500,000 loan of 1938, the greater portion of which was changed to flat term debentures from table mortgage and offered to the public at 4| per cent.

The chairman, Mr. W. H. Nagle, said that of the previous £100,000 there remained only £1500 and it was gratifying to note the response of small investors who had not hesitated to invest their money in what was one of the soundest loans in the country.
