ALL ROADS ARE BLOCKED
SHEEP LOSSES HEAVY.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
DUXEDIX, this day
Dunedin got no more than '"a flick of the tail" of the snowstorm which swept the province last evening. There was a quick thaw under sunshine this morning and there were no traffic stoppages. The Maniototo area, in Central Otago, has suffered badly, ail roads being blocked. It is known that at least three cars were abandoned on the RanfurlvWedderburn Road. Waipori had a fre. ii fall. Settlers here have been enowbound for six weeks. Sheep losses are expected to be heavy, for many have been under snow for six weeks and the frozen surface has cut off their air supply.
