TIN CAN MAILS.

The Maunganui called off Niuafoou Island on Thursday and landed 10,000 letters by the "tin can" mail. The same evening a movie ball was held on board, most of the passengers participating.

The vessel arrived at Levuka at 7.30 a.m. yesterday in beautiful weather. An exhibition of native dancing was given in Nasau Park, and the Maunganui sailed at 1 p.m. for Suva and Auckland. She is due here on Wednesday morning.
