WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist Issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Moderate to fresh west to southwest twinds. Weather, cool and changeable, with passing showers. Seas rough on the west coast and off shore on the east coast. Although the main portion of the recent depression has passed eastwards conditions are still rather disturbed in the New Zealand area. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Haurakl Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-west, moderate; aea, moderate; weather, cloudy, with passing rain squalls; visibility, fair at times; barometer, rising.
