I.R.A. Plot To Flood Many Acres Of Farmland.
RIVER BANKS PATROLLED. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, August 2. Fourteen additional Irish Republican Army expulsion orders have been signed bv tlie Home Secretary, Sir Samuel Hoarc, making a total of 39.
The Independent Cable Service says the banks of three rivers in Essex, over an area of 75 miles, are being patrolled by policemen disguised as labourers, following Scotland Yard's discovery of a plot to blow up walls and sluices and flood thousands of acres of farm land.
