"Yes, he was born in A Flat." *- Merry Pilgrims (Grey Lynn)—A little silk pram cover, a couple or warm garments, nve patches, a nice centre patch, anil such a splendid selection of provisions Including home-made jam, tin roods and u big tin of sweets. • • • • Ngataringa Helper* (Devonport) — A large cot quilt or about 50 knitted squares, nicely lined and bordered with silk, as well as live very nice singlets. • • • • Nimble Knitters (Mount Albert) —23 knitted patches and a little collection or used clothing was followed by a further Hi patches—the girt or a Mount Albert Triend. » • • • Oakley Club (Mount Albert) —Such a splendid quilt, made or brocade material and so warmly padded arrived in one parcel, and this was followed by another containing a second warm double bed quilt, a warm winter coat, two ••Mottles," two pairs or bed socks, three singlets, three little pairs or pants, and 3/0 for the lining rund. • • • • Parakeet (Eketahuna) —Three knitted squares, a couple of little garments, and a bright sixpence Tor the rund. There is such a great local demand Tor patches to make up into quilts that we are sorry to say we cannot post to the country. About those outposts—l suggest we wait until next year, as the campaign is now on the eve of closing. • • • • Pine Olub (Cornwell Park School)—A single bed quilt made rrom "Star" patches and neatly put together, 13 yards or washing satin ror linings, and a little bonnet. • • • • Primrose (Avondale) —Four patches, 11b or dates and 1/ for the Lining rund made up a welcome little parcel from the Primrose Tolk. • • • • Purple Patches (Mount Eden)—Fiftyone lovely knitted patches, two nice Utile matinee jackets, and a really lovely'collection or used baby clothes were the contents or the first parcel received. The -I'l'oiKl parcel contained one warmly padded cot quilt made from winceyette, three quilted pram covers and three scarves.
St. Anne's Club (St. Anne's School) — A very nice parcel of warm used clothing.
