MATAMATA CLUB. Results of games played on the Okaina links by members of the Matamata Golf Club on Saturday :— Captain's Trophy.—Quarterfinals: L. H. Little beat D. K. Abernethy, 4 and 3; H. Ford beat M. Loveridge, 5 and 3: C. Doreen beat J. Lee, 4 and 2;. H. G. Keeley beat K. Keid. 3 and 4. Vice-Captain's Trophy.—Quarter-finals : I. Knet-lKiiu' beat Powell. 5 and 4: Townsend beat Beacham. 4 and 3; Hollis beat Blue, by default; D. Fulton beat K. Clark, 4 and 3. Old Parr Cup.—ln the Old Tarr Cup, R. K. Mentiplay and V. Irvine finished all square, and the match will have to be played again. Stableford Bogey.—R. R. Mentiplay and H. G. Keeley won on a count back from H. Ford—C. Doreen and D. Fulton —I. Kueebone.
