BRITAIN'S REQUIREMENTS. CALL FOR AUSTRALIAN. Because of the difficulty which steel mills in Britain are experiencing in fulfilling contracts for the supply of material for air-raid shelters, further larger orders have been plated in Australia
Orders have recently been placed for more than 100,000 tons of steel plates. and fairly large quantities of galvanised "on, for immediate shipment to Britain. Ihe orders are being shared by Broken Hill Proprietary Company Ltd Newcastle and Australian Iron and Steel, Ltd., Port Keinbla.
