TREMORS DIMINISH.
VERDE ISLAND 'QUAKES
(Received 11.30 a.m.) MAXILA, May 2.5. Tremors are diminishing on Verde Island and the natives are returning to their homes. The island lias been subjected to a fortnight of earthquakes, and the 4UOU inhabitants were earlier preparing to evacuate.
