LATE MR. W. KEMP.
Mr. W\ Kemp, who died suddenly on Tuesday "and was buried at Waikaraka Cemetery yesterday, was a prominent Auckland owner and breeder. Among the horses he bred and raced were Ijndy Bruce, Mary Bruce, Emerald Hill, Golden Glaas, Queen Emerald, Gold Money, Ruling King and Captain Bruce. At the time of hie death he had First Gold Money and Bronze Kmerald in commission. He was very popular in racing circles and the respect in which he was held was evidenced by the large attendance at his funeral and the beautiful floral tributes that were placed on the grave. The late Mr. Kemp wae a brother to Mr. •I. D. Kemp and Mr. A. Kemp, wellknown EHerslie trainers.
