Those in tin- private bar were astonished to see a man racing through it towards the Fort Street door. He wit* followed by mi elderly lady who exclaimed: "That man has stolen my l>ll jr." There were about 20 people in the bur at the time mid a do/en set ntT lifter tin- man. Two of them eventually ciiiiLtht him nt the entrance to nn office m>ll r the intersection of Commerce Street and recovered tlio bag. However, they let the man no and took no further action.
