BETTER HEALTH.
NATURE'S PLANS. Speaking at a meeting of the Better Health Society, Mr. F. R. Field took for his subject, "How Nature Plans for Our Health." Very clearly the speaker traced the history of medicine from Hippocrates, the anciene Greek physician, to the present day methods of alleviating suffering humanity. The speaker ilhi&trated with black board drawing* how the earth, as it revolved around the sun, derived energy form that planet, but the sun also gets energy from the earth. It was explained that too much electricity would destroy life, but this exchange was Nature's plan whereby an equilibrium was established. There was much electricity, and great healing forces to be derived from the earth. Therefore, to go bare-footed as often as poesible was beneficial. Three hours after sunrise was a happy time for tuning in with Nature's healing forces.
