NAVY BLUE WINS.
AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB. LYNN REY THE FRANKLIN. LLANVABON TAKES THE WHITFORD. Conditions were anything but pleasant for the autumn meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club at Alexandra Park to-day. The rain that set in overnight continued this morning and during the afternoon, and in consequence the course was very heavy. However, there was a fair attendance. Thpre were only two other racing fixtures in the Dominion to-day. The South Canterbury Jockey Club concluded its autumn fixture at V7as/»dyke, rr.d the Nelson Jockey Club opened its annual meeting at Richmond Park. At Alexandra Park Our Jewel, the third favourite, won the Devonport Handicap from Josedale Grattan and Kewpie's Bingen, while Gay Mok o, the favourite, accounted for the Innovation Handicap from Frontier Boy and Sir Tony. The chief event, the Fergusson Handicap, went to Navy Blue, with Star Pronto and Kewpie s Triumph in the places. The Franklin Handicap went to Lynn Rey.
