Tanks And Guns Used Against Germans In Africa. NAZI PRESS REPORTS. (Received 10.30 a.m.) CAPETOWN, April 28. General Hertzog. Prime Minister, in i the Union Assembly, said that he was not in a position to reply whether he had received representations from Germany regarding the sending of police to South-West Africa. j He added that he was not acting to contradict German Press statements that tanks and machine-guns were being used without reason against Germans in the South-W«st.
