• The augmented Eastern Suburbs Rugby League team tram Sydney, which arrived in Auckland on Monday, at once settled down to earnest training. Last evening members of the touring party attended His Majesty's Theatre. This afternoon the team were the guests of Mr. G. Grey Campbell, chairman of the Auckland Rugby League Control Board, at l'iha Beach. The team chosen to meet Marist Old Boys at Carlaw Park on Saturday was announced to-day as fallows:— Full-back, J. Sharman; three-quarters, R. O'Loan. F. Hyde, A. Mitchell, D. Manson: tiveeijrhth. L. Pickup: half-back. K. Thompson: forwards, R. Stehr, G. Watt, F. Griliiths, H. Pierce, J. Arnold and J. Redman. Emergencies frill be J. McCarthy and J. Robinson (forwards) and t l . Tottey and J. Queley (backs).
