M. Daladicr urged M. Lebrun to stand for re-election as President, assuring him that it was the desire of the whole country. M. Blum's newspaper "Populairc" dec-lares that M. Lebrun will stand down. M. Lebrun assumed office on May 20. 1032, and his term expires this year. Cabinet decided to assist new decrees relating to frontier defence, increasing Navy effectives and opening credits for industrial expansion.
