JUTE MARKET ADVANCES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) FOXTOX, Monday. After a lengthy discussion the Melbourne wool houses have increased the mice of woolpacks for the coming year by 9d a pack, this rise reflecting the increase in the Calcutta market for these goods. The prices of all jute goods in India have been rising steadily, and now that the mills in that country have reached an agreement regarding working hours in tne jute trade, opinion in the city is that •the strong position may be sustained.
