J, Savage, has returned from Auckland well satisfied with the evidence of enterprise on the part of northern manufacturers. He will take the earliest opportunity of making visit* to Chrlstchurch and Punedin factories, Owing to the near approach of Easter and the Labour party's annual conference, his southern tour will not begin until after the Easter holidays.
