BRONWEN'S FORM. BEESWING PROMISING. PTRAKEEB WELL HAHDUBD. Bronwen, who ran eeeond in a similar class on Saturday, went one better to-day to win the Moank Handicap. She Handled the going well and came home in good style. Royal Message tried to win all the way, but she weakened over the last half-furlong. Nevertheless, her performance was encouraging. Beeswing, wbo finished third, wae making her first appearance in a race and her showing indicates that she will prove useful. When they were let go. Royal Message, Perillus and Bronze Moth began beet, but when they had settled down Royal Message had charge from Bronwen. Odtaa. Bronze Moth. Plueron and First Gold Money, with the othens' strung out. Royal Message was showing the way to Bronwen and Odtaa at the home turn, with Perillue, First Gold Money, Bronze Moth and Plueron next. Over the final stages Royal Message weakened, and Bronwen went on to beat her by a length and a half, with Beeewing, who finished feet, a farther length away. First Gold Money we* fourth, followed by Rival, Gay" Opal Odtaa and Perillus. * * Three of Them FelL Rozel was responsible for the pace in the Waiwera Hurdle Race, but tired in the run home and was beaten easily bv Pyrenees. The latter after tailing the field till half a mile from home was first over the last fence and won very easily. He was ridden a very confident race by R. E. Thomson. There were several mishaps. Hopalong falling at the first fence, while Baldric came to grief at the fence by the three furlong post on the second round, and Tutor toppled over at the final obstacle. Rozel. Tutor and Agog were the first to break the line, this trio leading past the stand from Baldric and Bryce Ktreet, with Pyrenees several lengths awav. There was no change along the back, and entering the straight there wa* little between Roeel, Tutor. Pyrenees and Kryce Street. Pyrenees led over the last jump to win by three lengths from Rozel, with Bryce Street a similar distance away. Agog wae the only other horse to finish.
