KENT FROM LIVERPOOL. KOZAN MARIT ARRIVED. BEATUS FROM NEW ORLEANS. The heavy easterly weather and continuous rain until noon to-day precluded any work being done on the wharves apart from the holiday. The anniversary regatta was postponed for the first time in memory and will be held on Saturday. The easterly gale at sea. is delaying the arrival of the Wanganella from Sydney, which was due to-morrow morning. The vessel radioed to the local office this morning that she was meeting with an easterly •rule and did not expect to arrive until 8 -a.m. on Wednesday. The Federal Line ■steamer Kent arrived from Glasgow and Liverpool at 9.30 p.m. on Saturday and •berthed yesterday morning at Queen's wharf. She is expected to leave for Wellington at the end of this week. The Yamashita Kisen Kaisha motor ship Kozan Mam arrived from Japan via Noumea at 7.30 p.m. yesterday and anchored in the stream. She berthed this morning at Prince's wharf, where she discharges and loads, continuing at Wellington and Southern ports. The British steamer Beatus i<s expected tonkrht from New Orleans and Texas with sulphur and general cargo. She may be delayed until to-morrow, when she will berth at Central wharf.

Orari is due on Wednesday from Wellington to continue loading for London. She sails from Napier on February 8. (X.Z.S. Co.) Huntingdon is loading for London and West Coast ports at Queen's wharf, and will leave on Wednesday night for Wellington. (N.Z.S. Co.) Trienza left Nauru last Wednesday for Auckland with phosphates and is due on Thursday. (8.P.C.) Ruahine will commence loading for London after discharge of her slag from Imminghani and will leave for Bluff tomorrow week. (N.Z:S. Co.) Oronsay will arrive on Friday morning from Brisbane with a party of tourists, sailing at midnight on Saturday for Wellington. (U.S.S. Co.)
