WEATHER FORECAST. FOB CITY Am) PROVINCE. The Government M«l*orolo(fM Issued to the " Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Moderate to strong winds between north-east and south-east. Weather dull and misty, with general rain and some heavy falls are probable, and possibly some flooding. Temperatures moderate. Beas rough on the east coast and off shore on the west coast. An anti-cyclone covers the South Island, but a cyclone of moderate intensity is centred a short distance west of the Auckland peninsula. Pressure has fallen over Tasmania. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Haurakt Gulf waa received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, east-north-eaet, gale; sea, rough; .weather, hazy, with continuous rain; visibility, very poor; barometer, falling.
