Y.M.C.A. BEAT JOHNS. EXCITEMENT AT BLANDFORD PARK. The best baseball of tlie season was seen at Blandford Pork, when T.M.C.A. beet Johns' Giants by 14 to 10. both tennis were on the top of form, and the fielding showed great Improvement, only four errors being noticed. For Y.M.C.A. Bird wns pitching and had hie opponents flurried, while behind the diamond Harland played catcher, very few balls going past him. For Johns W. Davldge scored a good home run. The score cards were:— Y.M.C.A. —0, 0, 0, 0, 2, 6, o—l4. Johns.—l, 2. 1, 0. 3, 0, 3—lo. The curtain-raiser was. betwffn Johns' Jays and Richmond Racoons, the former winning by 31 to 13. GILLIES PARK MATCHES. Pan-American 17, beat Suburbs 6. Training College 12, beat Pioneers 10. Lucas, Limited 22, beat Golden Eagles 10. Milne and Choyce 15. beat Suburbs B 8. STANLEY BAY RESULTS. Results at Stanley Bay Park were: — North Shore Rugby 30, bent North Shore Aces 28. JUNIOR LBAGUE. Y.M.C.A. 11. beat North Shore Rugby 7. Milne and Ghoyce 15. beat Suburbs 8. Milne and Choyre 21. beat Victoria tt. WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION. The holidays interfered with gamex under the control of the Women's Baseball Association, and only on« match wax staged, although several practice contests were decided, Remilt* :— Section A, —Oreent 2».
