VICTORIA'S STRONG POSITION. SYDNEY, Junuy 28. In the Sheffield Shield cricket mates between Victoria and New South Wales, the latter was dismissed for 120 in its first innings. James was the principal scorer with 34. Scott took seven wickets for 33. Victoria replied with 176 for two wickets (Gregory 65 not out, Haseett 64 not out).
