RUSSIAN BALLET PREMIERE.
1 Frozen flowers from England will be among the floral tributes at the opening of the Covent Garden Russian Ballet season at Hie Majesty's Theatre next Wednesday night. The flowers, which are travelling in 2cwt of ice front London, are a tribute from the Covent Garden management to "a. splendid company. , " Encased in two blocks ai ice two feet by three and 10 inches thick, the flowers will be transferred from the ship's refrigerator into local cold storage to-morrow. On Wednesday they will be presented to the artiste. Their Excellencies Lord and Lady Gal way will be present for the opening, and three ballets—"CarnavaL" The Swan Lake" and "Cinderella"—win be presented. Illustrated brochures giving details of the company and the projected programmes sre still available free.
