WOMAN INJURED

MOTOR OARS COLLIDE. When the car in which she was travelling became involved in a collision and capsized near Rukuhia shortly after 8.30 o'clock last evening. Mrs. Mary Guy, aged 21, suffered injuries to the body and leg. Minor cuts and abrasions were sustained by Mrs. Guy's husband, Mr. (I. M. Guy, an employee of the Public Works Department at Te Kuiti, who was driving. Minor injuries were also suffered by the five occupants of the secod vehicle. Mr. Guy was driving southwards toward Te Kuiti at the time. The front axle of his car was shorn off, and extensive damage was done to the remainder of the chassis. Bad damage was also done to the other car.

A St. John ambulance took Mrs. Guy to the Waikato Hospital, but her condition is not serious.
