MR. C. E. CUMMING.

The death has occurred of Mr. Charles Edward Cumming at the age of 69 years. Born at Hokitika, he became a journalist, and was employed on the staff of the "New Zealand Times" for 17 years. He served as editor of the "Journal of Agriculture" for a period, and was later editor of the "New Zealand Farmer." For a number of years he was editor of the "Dairyfarmer." When that journal ceased publication he edited the "New Zealand Farm and Home." He was one of the foundation members of the Waikato Pig Recording Club. Mr. Cumming is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters.
