K-a-p-a-i THE backblocks children's kapai cheer became one of the features of the holiday tour. When some particularly enjoyable treat had been given to the party and the moment of saying thank you" had arrived, Peter Pan would say: "Well, boys and girls, you've had a splentiia time; it's been pretty good, hasn't it? And anything that's good is kapai, and anything that's kapai is - - And then with one spontaneous roar the children would take up the cheer, and "K-A-P-A-I" would ring out from 36 young throats. We remember many resounding kapai cheers, but none louder or heartier than their cheer or thanks at our Christmas tree party to all those who had made possible a very glorious holiday.
