POSED AS WOMAN.
A JEALOUS FIANCEE.
FRENCHMAN'S ADMISSION.
HE WANTED TO BE A SPY. (Special.—By Air Mall.) PARIS, January 7. Arrested in Paris and charged with fraud, a Frenchman, 30-year-old Andre Schwindenhammer, is stated to have told the police that he dressed a« a woman for three years:
(1) To prove to the French Secret Service that he was capable of working in disguise.
(2) That his fiancee was so jealous that she forced him to wear women's clothes to make him unattractive to other women.
Andre lived under the name of Suzanne Thiebaid. He said this week that he met a Secret' Service official and asked how he could join. The official replied: "You must give some proof first that you are worth employing." He then dressed himself as a woman and took a job as a codk at Marseilles. Later he worked ae. a nurse and tc .>k the two children of his employer out for walks in the park.
