WHAKATANE, Friday. Cuts and abrasions were received by Miss J. Hampeon, daughter of Mr. J, A. Hampson, of Rotorus, when a car driven by her father overturned on. a back road near Matata yesterday afternoon.

Tlie accident wn* caused by a wheel flying off and the car somersaulted several times, Oc" r •„. ~*r- escaped injury and Miss Hampso. was able to return to her home after reoeiving Btdioil attntton.
