MORE MILK SALES.
INCREASE 1* AUCKLAND. Satisfaction Wa3 expressed by members of the Auckland 3letropolltaU Milk Council to-day With a report showing that the daily sales of milk in the Auckland area, had increased by 4000 gallons per day in the last foiir years. It was mentioned that the movement to provide School children with milk had been largely responsible for the increase. Figures supplied by the secretary showed that the sales \Vent tip 1300 gal lotis in 1935, and a similar increase was shown in the* followiiig year. lJiiriinr the last two veata the increase has been smaller, but sustained.
