Italy's Unfavourable Trade Balance. IMPORTS DOWN, EXPORTS UP. (Feceived 2 p.m.) ROME, January 19. Italy's unfavourable trade balance has been reduced by £31,000,000 to £32.760.000. Chief factors are the reduction in imports from £151,000,000 to £121,000,000, and an increase in exports, mainly of manufactured goods, from £87,256,000 to £88,434,000.
