MATINEE TROTTING.

AT ALEXANDRA PARK TO-MORROW Excellent support has been received by the Auckland Owners, Trainers and Breeders' Association for its Matinee Trotting meeting, which is to be held at Alexandra Park to-morrow. There are six events on the programme, and an especial feature will be the appearance in races of two-year-olda who are due to compete in the Great Northern Trotting Stakes, and three-year-olds who will take part in the Great Xorthern Derby, two events which are to be run at the meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club on Saturday and Wednesday, February 11 and With the single exception that no betting facilities will be provided, the Matinee fixture will be conducted on the identical lines of an ordinary race meeting. Descriptions of the races will be broadcast on the course, and band music between the events will enliven the proceedings.
