FUNDS FOR QUEEN. FUNCTION AT GLEN EDEN. Miss hilcen Carroll was the royal lady to be "aided"' la-t evening bv the dance given in the Clen Eden Town Hall. .Miss ( arroll is the eastern queen in the carnival being run by the Henderson unit of the Western Suburbs Returned Soldier**' Association. \\ iiiners of the Monte Carlo were Mr. F. Adair and Mrs. Farqnhar and Mr. C. Mines and Mrs. Xealey. Mix. Duncan and Mrs. (iiltrap (1), Mr. tiil.lard and Mr. (oupland (-), were winners of card competition*. Another competition was won by Miss L. Pilgrim. The Lambeth Walk was a feature. Among those present were: Mesdame* Carroll, Brown. Kobinson, Hoper. Constable, Andrew*. Klshaw. Alp. Taylor. ('.
