RADIANT LIVING.

I The weekly meeting of the S.S.R.L. held at the Higher Thought Temple on Monday evening wa* well attended by members and visitors. Rose* and Iceland poppies gave a note of brightness to the room. The vice-president, Mrs. M. Harvey, in her opening remarks said that Xew Zealand would take a leading part in the new mental and spiritual era into which we were passing. Miss M. Gibson read the stating of "My Purpose." while Mrs. G. Hillary, the secretary, read the founder's letter, the theme being the overcoming of fear. A most interesting and helpful lecture entitled "The Science of Sleep" was given by Miss Joan Warren, while Mr. P. A. Hillary delivered a very instructive address explaining the different character types and their combinations and the wonderful help gained from the understanding of one tyj>e by another. \lis9 Ivy McAnenimy sang two songs which were much enjoyed, and Mr. Eric Maxwell played beautifully on the piano. Miss Claire Rose conducted the community singing.
