SUNDAY TENNIS.

te AWAMirrtr decision. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TE AWAMUTU, Monday. Sunday tennis in Victoria Park was again discussed' by the Te Awamutu Domain Board this evening, when a requisition by five members of the board was accepted. This was supported by a letter from the tc::ni* club. The Rev. H. Spencer wrote stating that a deputation from the Christian Churches would not attend the meeting, as no new phases had occurred. He intimated, however, that it was still maintained that there should be no Sunday play on public courts.

The .board agreed, by five votes to two, to grant permission to play between the hours of 8 and 10 a.m. and from mid-day till 6 p.m., during the pleasure of the board.
