Th« Government *Mt*oroiogist leaued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon tho following special . weather forecast for tho Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Tauranga and Kawhia:— Light and variable winds, with oast to south predominating. Weather mainly fine, but a few isolated local shtowers still possible and thunder in places. Temperatures mild. Seas slight to moderate. An anti-cyclone still covers New Zealand. Pressure ie very uniform, the highest readinge being east of the South Island. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The' following report of weather conditions in ths Hauraki Gulf wss received from Tiritlri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, east-north-east, light; sea, alight; weather, fine, with scattered clouds; visibility, very good: barometer, steady.
