WEEK-END ACCIDENTS. FATAL CAR CRASHES. AUCKLAND ESCAPES LIGHTLY. Although Auckland} again escaped lightly in the week-end accident toll, there were no less than seven deaths through mtahajie in other part* of the Dominion. Two motor car accidents at Tahuna and Beaumont accounted for tiiree of the denthr:, and two men were killed by the premature explosion of gelignite at Midhurst. i A email boy wn« drowned in the Xgongataha Stream while trying to swing across the etream on a rope, and 'an aged Maori woman met her death by falling from the platform of a railway carriage as it was passing over the bridge which spans the Pohangina River at Ashhuret.
