FURTHER DECLINE.

■UTTER IN LONDON. MANY DISTURBING FACTORS. LONDON, September 24. Price* for butter have further declined owing to a continued lack of inquiry. Values appear to be purely nominal. Continental butters now share the weakness of stocks from the Dominions. Canadian batter sold a* low a* 108/ per cwt. Stocks held in cold store have passed their peak and were reduced by 4358 tons in August. The total stood at 31,108 tons on September 10, compared with 21,909 tons last year. The cold store situation, apart from political uncertainties, is disturbing to the market, especially as European production remains good.
