MAORI TRIAL.
GAHB AT WHAJf GABML LOCAL PLAYERS PARTICIPATING. The northern trial for the selection of the Maori Rugby team for Fiji will be held at Whangarei to-morrow. The following local players will be taking part and consequently will be missing from the club games:—Donaldson (Poneonby), Re* (Technical), McKinley (North Shore), Davis (Grafton) and Harnett. The lastnamed, who played for Shore at the beginning of this season, returned to Thames last week. He has drawn a clearance from the North Shore. Jlartnett is a nephew of Opai Aeher.
